Dear TESOL Greece members,
I hope that you are doing well as we all continue to work through the turbulence that the virus has created. We can be cautiously optimistic about the summer and hope for the best for the Fall. In the meantime, we can turn our energies to spending some time outdoors!
A year ago at this time, we were rounding out the groundbreaking “‘Daring’… the Virus” series of professional development webinars.
That online series set us up well for the remaining events of the year, culminating in the very successful 42nd Annual TESOL Greece International Convention in March.
In this issue — our 150th regular publication — you’ll find highlights from the plenary speakers’ presentations and some pics from the convention. You’ll also discover new ideas to put into your practice, ranging from the importance of fostering social-emotional learning in our students and ensuring our learners’ right to be heard to book reviews of two free ELT resources and a personal account of a professional journey over the past year.
For information about sending in your own article, please follow the article submission guidelines in the journal and send drafts for review to journaleditor@tesolgreece.org.
Wishing you a positive and renewing summer!
