"Empowering Greek Female Teachers to Become Conference Presenters"
In collaboration with the EVE group, TESOL Greece is thrilled to offer a leadership mentoring programme designed to empower 8 selected Greek female classroom teachers of English to become confident, professional conference presenters. This programme aims to equip participants with the skills necessary to present at international conferences, webinars, and local professional events.
What Participants Can Expect:
- 10 hours of mentoring by experienced EVE-ELT mentors.
- Training in public speaking and presentation skills to effectively share their ideas on a professional stage.
- Opportunity to be featured on the TESOL Greece webinar speakers list, allowing them to showcase their expertise to a wider audience.
- Support in applying for IATEFL conference scholarships to further broaden their professional experience.
Participant Requirements:
- Experience as classroom teachers (preferably in rural areas, noting potential connectivity challenges).
- Evidence of active involvement in their local teacher community (e.g., initiated a project, led a club).
- Openness to constructive feedback and a commitment to learning and improving.
- Willingness to share their knowledge within their school or community.
- Stable internet connectivity for online participation.
