“Not another AI Talk! Getting the T back to ELT”
Summary: AI, AI and AI! Of course it is so far the hottest topic in everything. Not just ELT or even Teaching in general!
From “I Robot” to “Blade-Runner” to “Terminator” humans have been in awe of what A.I. can bring to humanity. Somehow, though, in recent years teachers and students, along with other human beings, have embraced AI as a partner and as the gift that keeps on giving.
Is AI a new tool that can only bring the future to the classroom or is it another “fad” that will fade away like so many before in 4 to 5 years?
Programme Overview
The TESOL Greece travel package of 30€/person includes:
❖ Transportation from Athens to Astros Kynourias and back
❖ Guided Tour at Moustos Lagoon
Guided tour at Moustos lagoon by staff members of the Southern Peloponnese Protected Areas Management Unit (NECCA*) and a short tour on foot to the wetland’s Strict Nature Reserve Area. Using monitoring equipment (binoculars and telescopes) provided by the Management Unit and with the help of the environmental interpretation signs installed, visitors will observe the species of waterfowl that winter in the area and learn about this important, protected ecosystem.
** Please note: In case the weather will not permit outdoor activities, an alternative visit to the Astros Environmental Information Center will be scheduled, which briefly includes:
- a guided tour at the environmental interpretation exhibition on the rich fauna, flora, and important habitat types of the protected lagoon area.
- a thematic presentation on the role and responsibilities of the Management Unit and the protected areas under its jurisdiction.
