Dear TESOL Greece Members,
We are once again excited to have you back and we hope that the events we have prepared for you in the months ahead will be as enjoyable for you as they are for us. Many new faces have joined our new board and we have already started this season dynamically.
As always, in March we held our international convention at the Leonteios school of Athens, with amazing people joining us and some very interesting presentations on top of that. You can read an overview of our Convnetion and all of TESOL Greece’s presence internationally in this issue.
You can also read a selection of very interesting articles on our Developing section. Learn about the practical application of the STEAM approach in creating an inclusive classroom, and about the importance of an “inclusive classroom” in the article by Dora Sapasoudaki. In this issue the negative impact of digital technologies to the cognitive skills of Gen Z and A is also explored with the SIG section wrapping up this issue by exploring a different way of teaching English
through Drama.
The journal is distributed free as part of your TESOL Greece membership and is a
valuable tool that helps you keep up to date with trends, issues, projects, and helpful ideas from colleagues near and far. Your ideas and experiences are also welcome!
On behalf of the TESOL Greece Board,
Despoina Pagiota, Zafi Mandali, Nikolaos Zamparas
