Dear TESOL Greece Members,

Issue #148 of the TESOL Greece journal is here with a wealth of useful information for a variety of learner ages and levels as we head into the holiday season. Of course, the current journal and archives of all past journals and newsletters are always available through the Members’ Area of our website.

In this issue, you’ll read about strategies for including instruction that can help learners develop the awareness and skills to become effective global citizens and read about how asking learners the right questions to help them reflect can help them develop their autonomous learning skills.

There is also an article filled with valuable techniques to help with school and classroom discipline that’s not to be missed. Rounding out the issue are two more terrific articles, one that shares tips on how to ask powerful coaching questions to discover learners’ strengths and one that relates a practical example of how to foster learning and motivation through conversation.

This issue includes updates on two very successful TESOL Greece events from the Fall. Please keep in mind that all of the video recordings from the events are available to current members for on-demand viewing from the TESOL Greece website Members’ Area

For more information about sending in your own article, please see the submission guidelines in the journal and send articles for review to journaleditor@tesolgreece.org

On behalf of the TESOL Greece Board and the Editorial Team, I want to wish a safe and healthy holiday season to you and all your loved ones!
