A Guaranteed Recipe!
In this practical workshop we will explore how we can introduce drama techniques in our classrooms to spice things up and make sure that we establish a trusting bond among the class. Drama can offer the appropriate context for the learners and teacher to create an experiential learning opportunity, something that can prove a game changer, definitely enhancing our teaching.
Valia Gkotsi is an IB English teacher and examiner, working at Athens College. She holds a BA in English Language and Literature from UOA, an MA in Drama and Theatre Education from Warwick University and a Diploma in Creative Thinking from UOA. She has delivered many workshops on drama and theatre.
Ioanna Georgakopoulou holds a BA in English Language and Literature from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens and an MA in Drama and Theatre Education from the University of Warwick. She is the Head of the Academic Learning Centre at the Metropolitan College of Piraeus and an English and Drama teacher.
