Steps to apply for the grant:
Interested individuals (members and non-members) must email email@example.com to express their interest by February 17th, 2022. In the email subject line, please write: Eleftherios Kormpas Grant.
Any applications received after the deadline will not be considered.

Along with an email expressing interest, Student ID holders need to attach a scanned copy of their valid Student ID. If the Student Card is invalid or not attached, the application is invalid.
Regular members should send an email expressing their interest.
The first five valid submissions for each of the three categories (ΟΑΕΔ card holders, Student ID holders, and regular members) will be awarded the Eleftherios Kormpas Membership Grant in that category.
The TESOL Greece Executive Secretary keeps track of the interested applicants by the date and time the e-mail was received. All successful and unsuccessful applicants will be notified about their application status prior to the convention.
Deadline for applications is February 17th, 2022. Notifications will be on or around February 22nd, 2022.
*Stipulations of the Grant
This is not a cash Membership Grant, and cannot be refunded.
Accepted recipients need to contact the TESOL Greece Office as soon as they receive notification of being awarded the grant and claim their grant. They need to reply to the email from the Executive Secretary and to scan and send their ID or passport.
If the recipient of the Grant fails to attend the convention online, they will not be given the Grant. The applicant may apply for the Grant the next year.
A person who has been awarded the Grant in the past cannot apply for this Grant again.
This grant is awarded in loving memory of Eleftherios Kormpas, who passed away from lung cancer in 1987 at the age of 42. He came from a small village in Pelio, Agios Vlassios. His family, and especially his youngest son, Georgios, decided to dedicate this grant to his memory as his father was his inspiration for a better education and to become an English Teacher.
