“The Cultured Daughter of a Plain Grocer”

by Zafi Mandali

It  sometimes  could be that the boarding school  business turns out to be too utterly  beyond.

If that does not make sense you will have to hear the story of The Cultured Daughter of a Plain Grocer.

Sunday 20:15-21:00

“Celebrating Language, Literature and Teaching:

A Performance by Conference Participants”

by Luke Prodromou

Four sketches performed by Luke-and-friends:

with Lilika Couri, Zafi Mandali, Anna Papadaki,

Vicky Saran, Cliff Parry, Nick Michelioudakis and Eftichis Kantarakis.

A satire on short-sighted management practices in ELT;

 a sketch that reminds humorously of the importance of voice and body language in effective teaching;

the third celebrates the humour of Jane Austen

and the final sketch celebrates the best-selling novelist of all time.
